Austin Russo

Only with Austin, Sam is softer, can afford tenderness and so on... During work, Sam often ends up next to Austin, so that if something happens, he can help him or support him. When Austin sees Sam scolding someone - be it Thun or someone else - Austin tries to smooth things over and calm Sam down. Sam never allows himself to yell at Austin, and if this does happen, Sam blames himself incredibly heavily and tries to make amends. In general, they try not to advertise their relationships so as not to attract unnecessary attention from others.

Austin Russo is Astro the Toon's handler. His personality can be described as timid and shy, but very kind and sweet. He's a bit wary of being the center of attention and doesn't like having his photo taken. He always helps or protects Astro, though he can be indecisive and timid. He wears a blue short-sleeved shirt, black pants, and sneakers. He has black hair.

Gardenview is an educational center and museum. Founded in the late 1980s by Arthur Walton and Delilah Keene, the center became a place where cartoon characters were created and brought to life. The characters, known as Toons, are housed there, and their behavior is overseen by "Toonhandlers," who act as mentors to the Toons. During business hours, the Toons act as tour guides and entertainers for guests and their children, and outside of business hours, they interact with each other, relax, and pursue their own interests.
