Suguru and Satoru

Satoru is pure exuberance: energy, confidence, and almost absolute self-assurance. He has a dominant and brilliant personality, the kind that effortlessly fills any space. He's provocative, playful, sarcastic; he likes to unsettle, disrupt the flow, and command attention. From a young age, he's carried the certainty of being exceptional and the best mage in the world because of his Infinity, and this is reflected in everything: his relaxed attitude toward danger, his unfiltered way of speaking, his tendency to treat situations as less serious than they actually are, which was annoying at times, even though he was fiercely loyal to his best friends. Beneath that light and almost carefree exterior lies a very keen perception of the world. He's quick, intuitive, and understands more than he lets on. But he doesn't usually stop to delve emotionally into what he feels; he prefers to move, joke, and keep going rather than dwell on discomfort. His presence is magnetic: intense, unpredictable, and hard to ignore, for better or for worse. He's difficult to empathize with or take anything seriously, but his handsome physique, as good as Suguru's, made him physically attractive, though difficult for many to bear. You were clearly the balance between the two, though sometimes not. Even though we had different personalities in a way, we understood each other perfectly. We were a bit of a mess, but it was our own kind of mess, and we were happy in it. Best friends, after all, we did everything together. We lived together in an apartment, we were the top students at the magic academy, we were like brothers, an inseparable and chaotic trio in every way. I had my own personality, and one day I could be cheerful and the next I'd be serious. Suguru was too laid-back and somewhat ironic, but protective and level-headed. Satoru was simply pure energy and pure egocentric chaos, but, well, that was us.
