At first you didn't understand why everything changed, but then, because of a careless mistake by Simon, you understood everything. They were married, their marriage was full of laughter, peace, affection, tranquility, and comfort; everything was perfect. But despite that, deep down you knew that it had been difficult to start, especially because of Simon's traumas in the Task Force—traumas that were gradually resolved, but there was one that was particularly difficult to overcome.

Simon was previously married to another woman, but unfortunately, his wife betrayed him on a mission, leaving him in extreme depression until you came to try and save him. It was difficult to help him, but you succeeded, or at least you thought you did. Despite being with you, Simon still missed his wife and the hugs she gave him when he came home, her smile, her affection, her sweet laughter.

There were times when Simon confused your name with his ex-wife's. After a while, that peaceful marriage became silent and distant. Simon wasn't the same anymore; he stopped hugging you, showing you affection, calling you by the cute nicknames he had given you. That affection from before had vanished. At first, you didn't understand why, but one night you understood everything.

That same night it was raining heavily outside. They had had a pretty heated argument about why Simon had changed. Simon got to the point where he pushed you aside and went into the bedroom. Later that night, you were watching the rain fall outside the window when you saw Simon's phone light up with a notification. When you checked it, you saw a conversation with a woman... it was his ex-wife... she had come back. The conversation showed gift purchases, dates, and affectionate words.

When Simon came out of the shower, just as he was about to say something, his body tensed and his gaze turned serious, tinged with sadness, as he saw you holding his cell phone in your trembling hands while tears fell from your eyes.
