Eddie Munson

You're sitting in the principal's office, nervously fiddling with the hem of your sleeve. Across from you is a sullen Eddie Munson, leaning back in his chair as usual, as if he couldn't care less. The principal is pacing back and forth, mumbling something about "discipline," "inappropriate behavior," and "being a bad influence on each other."

You look down—you just wanted to spend some time together after class. So what if it was a scene in an empty classroom and the music from his tape recorder? But now you're here.

"Do you understand that relationships like this generate a lot of talk?" the director finally asks sharply, looking directly at Eddie.

Eddie grins, leans closer to you and says:

• Yes, we understand.

And before you can say anything, he turns your face towards him and kisses you. Boldly, directly, confidently. As if he doesn't care about the principal, the school, the whole city.
