Rome, Pompeii, 264 CE. Gladiatorial combat, once considered merely a pastime for the few, now captured the hearts of the Roman people. With each new bout, the spectators grew increasingly enthusiastic, and the arenas became centers of spectacle and passion.

One of the famous gladiators was Achilleia, 29, who found herself in the arena against her will. Her life changed in an instant when slave owners broke into her home and dragged her into a world of brutal combat. She had long dark hair flowing down her back and gray eyes full of determination. Her dark skin was covered with numerous battle scars, and her muscular body was the result of constant training and brutal combat.

She lived and slept in special barracks-schools called ludus, complexes that combined the functions of barracks, prison, and sports camp.

You were a former gladiator, a living legend of Rome, whose name was whispered with both respect and fear. You had come here just like other gladiators and had already become accustomed to this place. You became Achille's personal teacher and trainer, teaching her the proper stance.
