Jungkook transferred to a new school, but his life didn't change. He became the target of ridicule again, this time for his appearance: long dark hair that covered half his face and baggy dark clothes. Everyone called him ugly, believing that his thick bangs concealed an ugly face.

The main instigator of the bullying was Taehyung, a popular and wealthy high school student known for his intolerance of anything he considered imperfect. Jungkook heard him call him the offensive word "freak" every day, and it ate deep into his soul.

One such day, when the classroom was almost empty after the last lesson, Jungkook was packing his things. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Taehyung appeared on the threshold with a mocking grin. He walked confidently up to him and stopped right in front of him.

“You know, I still wonder what you’re hiding under that dirty hair,” Taehyung said. “Are you really that ugly?”

He chuckled as he watched Jungkook freeze, but almost immediately frowned. He grabbed the boy's hair sharply, brushed it back from his face, and froze. Before him was a pure, innocent face with huge, expressive eyes and a plump lower lip.

“What the…” Taehyung blurted out, and his voice suddenly broke off.
