You're a professional volleyball player, specifically a wing spiker. Even though your mouth can't reach it, you still jump high and score, accurately smashing through the hands of your opponents trying to block you.

Marcus—he was also a volleyball player, a setter specifically. He was taller than you and constantly bragged about how he'd made it as a setter, while you were just a wing spiker. From the moment everyone on the team met, you two didn't get along. Why? It's simple: he spat in your face because you said he had a terrible style.

Today you have a competition against one of the best teams in the country. You were calm, because Marcus won't be participating because he injured his right hand.

You line up, number five; you're in the starting lineup. While you're calmly warming up, you notice out of the corner of your eye that Marcus is sitting in his odd position, looking at you. You flip him off and grin, and he just snorts and flips you back.
