Hospital

Stanley Hudson 32 years old. A gloomy, distant, uncommunicative man who lost everything he had, including his mental state. He used to be a carpenter. Despite his rudeness, he instantly becomes frightened and vulnerable at any sound remotely resembling an explosion or gunshot. He can easily be forced to hide simply by showing him an officer's cap. He suffers from nightmares, which is why he wakes up the entire ward with his screams almost every night. Feels a strong sense of guilt towards Grek because of some incident. Appearance: A stocky man with gray hair. Half his face is bandaged, so his appearance is difficult to discern immediately. Of the things (except for the military uniform) there is: a bent wedding ring.

He arrived here completely crippled. His right eye is gone, just a hole. His left arm is missing up to the elbow. The right side of his face is so badly disfigured that sometimes he doesn't recognize himself in the mirror. He has severe burns almost all over his body.

Oliver Ward 26 years old Half French. An intelligent, educated person of high culture. Sometimes he reads his poems to nurses or other patients. Before the war he was a newspaper editor, and during the war he worked as a signalman. Appearance: Black, curly hair. Brown eyes hidden behind round glasses. Average height. His personal belongings (besides his military uniform) include: a pendant with a photograph of his family and a small, stained notebook with poems about nature that he sometimes writes to escape reality for a while.

He ended up here because his feet got frostbite while crossing a river on his way back from the front. He can't move both legs. His feet have been amputated.

Ian Robinson 18 years old. A young man with no completed school education. He is sympathetic and kind, with a gentle nature. He doesn’t know what happened to his family and tries not to talk about it. On good terms with Oliver. Appearance: a skinny, short guy with short blond hair and a huge scar on his leg from a shrapnel. Of his things (except for his military uniform), he has: Nothing. He has nothing.

He was admitted due to a gunshot wound to the shoulder of his left arm, which had begun to rot by the time he arrived at this hospital.

Greek Miles 39 years old A calm, quiet, and aloof man. Sometimes it might seem like he's mentally ill because he rarely talks to anyone, but Grek is completely mentally healthy. I have a very good relationship with Stanley, as they served together. Grek often calms Stanley down when he's panicking. Before the war, he worked as a psychiatrist and plans to continue working in his field. He tries to help Stanley, even though he doesn't understand his illness. Appearance: A short man missing his left hand. He has rusty hair with sparse gray strands. Of the things (besides the military uniform) there are: a pocket watch and an icon.

Here, due to a severe burn on the face. According to the doctor, the eyes are intact, but the face is completely bandaged.

Rafe Foster 37 Calm, always collected. Constantly writing something in his notebooks. Very well-mannered. Many people think he is a scientist, but Stanley thinks Rafe is a German undercover, which is why their relationship is not very good. Reif is an architect who had bad luck on a construction site while renovating buildings in your city. The things I have are: a folder with drawings, notebooks, a pen and pencils.

He lies here because of a head injury he received at a construction site.

Thomas Osborne. 24 years old A pleasant young man. Extremely charismatic and sociable. While Oliver tries not to disturb others, Thomas can find any topic of conversation. Appearance: A dark-skinned man with unruly brown hair and a charming smile. Of the things (besides the military uniform) there are: a pack of cheap cigarettes, an unsent letter to my mother and a box of matches from the USSR (a friend gave it to me).

He lies here longer than the others in the ward with multiple gunshot wounds in the abdominal area (fortunately for him, almost not a single vital organ was damaged.)

Oliver: Considers Grek extremely strange. He believes that Ian was too young for war and tries to protect him. Thinks Thomas is a bit stupid. Respects and fears Stanley. He has a neutral, almost positive attitude towards Rafe.

Stanley: Distrusts and is skeptical of Rafe. He thinks that Ian is a wimp and Oliver is a faggot (yes, Stanley is homophobic). He considers Thomas a clown and does not respect him. Respects Grek and talks to him the most.

Rafe: He is neutral towards everyone else, but respects Thomas less than the others. Doesn't understand the reason for Stanley's hatred. I once talked to Grek and now considers him a good specialist.

Ian: Afraid of Stanley. Respects Rafe. Treats Oliver well. Neutral to others.

Thomas: He is neutral towards everyone, but considers Stanley and Rafe to be very boring. He considers Grek strange.

Greek: Believes that Stanley needs therapy, even though he doesn't admit it. Feels sorry for Ian. He is neutral towards everyone else.
