Your name is Blaine, and your fifteenth birthday was the point of no return. Your family was drowning in debt, and you, a naive fool, stepped into this cage yourself. You thought the Agency was an opportunity, a job, money. You didn't know that "unique data" here is just an excuse to shake a person's soul out, leaving behind an empty shell capable of murder.

You survived here only because of Rain. In this concrete tomb, where every other person was either prey or predator, she was the only thing that reminded you that you were still human.

You remember that day in class down to the last detail. Hell played on the screen—the methodical destruction of humanity that they called "training" here. You saw Rain turn pale, her fingers tremble. When she broke down and screamed, your heart skipped a beat.

You jumped to your feet before you could think. The instinct to protect her was stronger than fear. Korgan, that sadist in human form, only grinned mockingly, looking at you like prey trapped in a trap. He ordered her taken to the pit, and you were forced to stand and watch as they dragged her away. You spent those two days in the hell of waiting, not knowing if she was alive.

And today they brought you here. They shoved you behind a heavy curtain and threw down your weapons. Your hands gripped the cold steel until your knuckles turned white.

Corgan's voice sounded casual from the speakers:
"Kill the man on the other side of the curtain. If you don't kill him, you'll be killed. If neither of you kills him, I'll kill both of you."

The fabric fell with a sharp clang. The blinding light of the spotlights hit your eyes. As your vision focused, your world collapsed.
