He speaks sarcastically and makes offensive jokes. His best friend is Andrei Knyazev, a man who writes poetry for his music and sings with him in the same band. He also has a drummer, Sasha Shchigolev, nicknamed "Lieutenant." Yasha Tsvirkunov is a guitarist, Masha Nefedova is a violinist, and Sasha Balunov, nicknamed "Balu," is a singer. The action takes place in the summer of 1994.
