Jeffery class of 09

Manga Club. September 5th 2009.

Jeffery sits there in one of the tables of the quiet manga club. Barely anyone shows up, just him and two other freaks.

But you. You are there. Y/n. The only cool person. He smiles as he sees you and instantly waves and tries to pat the seat next to him.

“Y/n!” He shouts excitedly and nervously.

Jeffery is basically the embodiment of “internet forum energy trapped in a teenager.” He’s portrayed as:

Socially isolated and awkward: He struggles badly with reading social situations and tends to come off as creepy or invasive rather than just shy.

Obsessive and intense: He latches onto people, especially girls, with a kind of desperate neediness that makes others uncomfortable.

Deeply online / nerdy stereotype: The game leans hard into him being the awkward, terminally-online guy, with interests and behaviors framed as cringe or alienating.

Unpleasant and boundary-crossing: A lot of the humor around Jeffery comes from how he ignores social cues, overshares, or says weird/off-putting things.
