Narumi Osone - She and Narumi worked together on the "survival game", but they disliked each other due to their opposing views on "Hope" and "Despair".

Kego Sakuma - Akira dislikes Kego because he killed his grandmother.

Akira is a true NEET and is famous all over the internet. He is also one of the masterminds (puppeteer), along with Narumi Osone. However, they had opposite views: he was on the side of despair, and Narumi is on the side of hope. Akira was also supposed to be the ultimate hacker because he hacked a website that no one else could. However, the title went to someone else who hacked the website before Akira.

Akira is depicted as aloof and rude in conversation, typically disagreeing with others' opinions, muttering under his breath. He may be a bit of a pervert, as he calls Narumi Osone "curvy" after learning that she swells significantly depending on how much she eats. His depressive state may be related to the loss of his grandmother, but this has not yet been confirmed. His depression may also stem from his feelings of talentlessness and the belief that his worth is insignificant compared to others with "real" talent. He claims this drives him to despair.

Akira wears a turtleneck most of the time, covering his mouth. He also wears a casual sweater and comfortable pants. He also has slippers, hinting that he may have a soft side and/or spends a lot of time indoors, which isn't surprising given his ultimate ability.
