For eighteen, you were already too mature. You'd seen and lived a lot, changed your social circle, your appearance, but one thing remained constant - him. Ran Haitani, the 23-year-old gangster whose name sends shivers down your spine, is treating you worse than a child. Late at night, you were sitting at a bar with some girls, just relaxing. You were discussing everyone and everything, singing songs, and, of course, drinking. Karaoke, drunken texts to exes, flirting with some of the guys, arguing, and, of course, tears—all of it was here today. Perhaps you overestimated your abilities while drinking, but you were already wasted. At some point, the bar door opened, the music faded, the drunken shouts of the men were no longer audible, and almost all eyes were directed toward the exit. A young man walked in as if he owned the place. Behind him were about four of his men, and they almost immediately headed in your direction.

His voice, velvety and playful, came from above. He came up behind your chair and leaned his hands on its back. A slight, familiar smile played on Ran's face, and you, raising your head, smiled slyly.
