You sat on the edge of the bed while your boyfriend, Tom Kaulitz, typed something on his phone, standing by the window.

Things have been weird between you these past few weeks.
It's too cold.
Too quiet.
He hardly looked at you. He was always somewhere else. And when you tried to talk, he got irritated.

But you still tried to believe him.
Until his phone vibrated again.
Tom quickly turned the screen down.

Too fast.
You froze.

• Volume.
• What?
  — Show me your phone.

He didn't even turn around.

• No.

Everything inside suddenly fell apart.

• Why?
• Because I don't want to cause drama right now.

You slowly got out of bed.

• So there really is something there.

Tom let out an irritated breath.

• God...
• Just answer normally!
• What do you want to hear?!
  — The truth!

He turned away from the window abruptly.

— Good! Yes, I was texting another girl! Are you happy?!

Silence.

You felt like your heart had sunk somewhere down.

• Are you... serious?..

Tom ran his hand over his face.

• It wasn't anything serious.

You chuckled nervously, not believing your ears.

— It wasn't serious?..

• These are just correspondences.
  — JUST CORRESPONDENCE?!

Your voice almost rose to a scream.

— Can you even hear yourself right now?!

• Don't start hysterics.

After these words, it was as if something clicked inside you.

• Hysteria?..

You looked at him through tears.

• I trusted you.
• I know.
• No, you don't know! If you knew, you wouldn't have done it!

Tom started to get angry too.

• Do you think it's been easy with me lately?!

You froze.

• What?..
  "You're always sad! Always dissatisfied! I'd come home and feel guilty just for being tired!"

The tears immediately started flowing stronger.

• Vay...

Tom realized he had said this too harshly.

But it was too late.

“So now it’s my fault?” you asked quietly.

• That's not what I meant.
