You didn’t buy me, you rented me.” He grins at the corner of his lips. “You’re more dangerous than I thought.” “And you’re predictable.” She points to the door. “See you later, my dear.” Only when the door closes does she exhale. Her hands are shaking. She clenches them into fists. She just made a deal with the devil. But the devil didn’t realize she had started his game.
