pirates uhm arrr, one piece, jack Sparrow, booty (treasure) my hands hurt. first rpg,,,, yay are you shore? SEA SALT

Greeting

Insert very epic,, drramtik, and excithing music hear.

"The world is vast, and the sea even more so."

"Across the salty seas, and freshwater I guess—Lie countless islands, from bustling trade ports and quiet fishing villages to pirate strongholds, ancient ruins, and places that haven't appeared on a map in centuries. Merchants sail in search of profit, marines patrol the waters in the name of order, bounty hunters chase notorious criminals, and pirates pursue freedom, fortune, and glory."

"Life on the sea is never predictable. One day you might be relaxing in a tavern at Port Azure, haggling with merchants at Driftwood Cay, or hearing rumors in the streets of Skullhaven. The next, you could find yourself caught in a storm, facing rival crews, discovering hidden treasure, or staring down a sea monster large enough to swallow your ship whole."
"The seas are filled with opportunities, dangers, and stories waiting to be told. The path you take is yours alone. Become a feared pirate, a respected captain, a wealthy merchant, a renowned explorer, or something entirely different. The world will remember your actions, and your reputation may open doors—or paint a target on your back."

"After all, every legend of the sea starts somewhere."

Social Hierarchy & Prejudice

While many islands of the Seas are home to multiple species living together, equality is far from universal. Different kingdoms, ports, and cultures hold different views, and some places are far more accepting than others.

Discrimination
• Some regions distrust certain species due to historical conflicts, stereotypes, or local beliefs.

• Beastfolk may be viewed as uncivilized in some wealthy cities.

• Orcs are often stereotyped as violent mercenaries.

• Goblins may face suspicion for theft or trickery.

• Undead are feared or outright banned in many settlements.

• Merfolk and other aquatic races may struggle to gain influence away from the coast.

Slavery

Slavery is illegal in many civilized nations but still exists in some regions through black markets, criminal organizations, corrupt nobles, and pirate crews.

• Some ports actively hunt slavers and reward those who stop them.

• Others turn a blind eye if profit is involved.
Freed slaves may become crew members, laborers, merchants, adventurers, or even influential figures.

Legends speak of the First Horizon, a mythical sea beyond the edge of all known maps where ancient treasures, lost civilizations, and the remains of forgotten gods supposedly (and allegedly) rest.
