After returning from "Wild Card" and becoming a regular for Bastard München in the Neo-Egoist League, Kunigami is most notably able to utilize his physique by catching the ball in the air with his chest between two defenders and pushing them aside while holding them, allowing him to set up his own shot. Kunigami also has better control of his upper and mid-body reflexes, as seen when he was able to keep up with Bachira's improved dribbling ability for a few moments during the match against Barcha. Anri also noted that Kunigami's physical specifications are almost the same as Noel Noa's, something she calls an incredible feat for his age. Specifically, his cardiopulmonary function, muscle mass, and overall fitness are close to Noel Noa's.
Quality Shot: Kunigami has a powerful, almost accurate shot, specifically from his left leg, which he uses to score incredibly powerful shots with his standard range to shoot within 28 meters.

Knuckle shot: From almost 40 meters from the net, Kunigami shoots with such intense force that it kills the spin of the ball, allowing the shot to curve.
Powerful mid-range shot: When in possession of the ball and keeping two defenders at bay, Kunigami can outmaneuver his defenders while creating space and firing a high shot with his right foot, almost scoring an effortless shot.
Jumping Volley Shot: Kunigami leaps using his physical strength and performs a volley shot while in the air. This shot was performed after Isagi made a poor shot against Manshine City where the angle of the ball deflected, and Kunigami instinctively threw himself in the path of the shot and jumped to send a volley into the net.
Ambidexterity: After competing on the Wild Card route, Kunigami exhibits the ability to use both feet to score goals. He admits that he was forced to develop this skill to survive on the Wild Card route, but he was only able to do so for a short period due to his physical attributes. While he can use both feet to shoot and dribble, Kunigami's left foot remains much more powerful and efficient, though he has so far chosen to use his right for almost all of his shots in the Neo Selfish League. Niko even commented that his right leg is now his stronger leg. Isagi also commented on how this ability has made Kunigami a constant threat to the defense, making his team's operations easier. He also described Kunigami as a "perfect striker with no weaknesses."

He darts past defenders, making them think he'll shoot with either foot. This dangerous move forces defenders to pressure him, allowing Kunigami to dribble past them. Kunigami successfully dribbled past three Ubers defenders.
Shot Fake - Cutaway: Kunigami fakes a shot with either leg, forcing defenders to try to block him, then he strikes the ball with the other foot while cutting past them to set up a real shot.
Man-marking: Kunigami is able to effectively mark another player using his physique and presence to prevent them from playing the way he wants. He used this to great effect to prevent Barou from scoring for a while in their Second Selection match. Kunigami constantly forced Barou out of his golden zone and prevented him from shooting. After his Wildcard training further enhanced his physique, Kunigami is able to completely block someone as physically gifted as Shidou, preventing him from even touching the ball, while in their last match, Kunigami was unable to understand or stop Shidou at all.
Current State: The current, as described by Ego, is the state of "total immersion" or "being in the zone." It's the mental state in which a person performing an activity is completely immersed in a feeling of energized concentration, total participation, and enjoyment in the process. Kunigami wasn't present during Ego's explanation of the current and, as such, didn't consciously enter it, but he did unconsciously enter it several times. Isagi recalls Kunigami entering the current during Team Z's matches twice. The chemical reaction between Isagi and Kunigami that led to a goal against Barcha also caused Kunigami to enter it. More recently, Kunigami entered the current to completely shut down Shidou in their match and assist Isagi's goal.

Archetype

Counter-attacker: Counter-attackers are any attacking players who use their pace to beat defenders and create unexpected scoring opportunities at any time. They also need a certain degree of shooting skill. Counter-attack opportunities arise when opponents attack a team with most of its players pushed forward. A counter-attack occurs when the ball is won back and played quickly into space for a counter-attacking player to run into, or when a player receives the ball and runs at speed into a sparsely defended opponent's half.

Chigiri's natural physical attributes allow him to run at incredible speeds compared to most players, and coupled with his great focus, he's able to maintain control of the ball and his speed while moving in tight spaces, between players, and seamlessly switching between dribbling and passing. After training with Manshine City, Chigiri is more deliberate about where he's going to cut and run, now targeting his ideal shooting zone by using his refined speed and dribbling instead of blindly rushing into the penalty area as quickly as possible.

Skills

Exceptional Speed: Chigiri possesses naturally strong leg muscles and expert footwork, allowing him to sprint across the field at incredible speeds. He is generally considered the fastest player in Blue Lock, and only players with immense speed, such as Ryusei Shidou, Eita Otoya, and Zantetsu Tsurugi, can rival him. While his speed is matched by a handful of players, no one has yet been able to beat him in a direct top-speed competition (Zantetsu has beaten him in acceleration competitions of over 10 meters). Chigiri has even outpaced Oliver Aiku, the number one defender of the Japanese U-20 National Team. This speed, combined with his perception and positional awareness, allows him to choose the appropriate point of advance into the opponent's defense and accelerate. In addition to this, Chigiri has demonstrated the ability to directly kick the ball and follow through, resulting in a wide dribble that can break through the enemy formation. It is for these reasons that Chigiri has one of the best forward movement abilities in Blue Lock.
Long-distance running: While Chigiri may not possess the explosive acceleration of Zantetsu or Shidou, he is significantly faster over long distances, reportedly covering 50 meters in 5.77 seconds. Chigiri utilizes this ability by "passing" the ball to himself, sending it a considerable distance ahead of him (around 50 meters) and then sprinting to retrieve it. As a result, he is able to break through even the strongest and tightest defenses with relative ease.

Non-Stop Dribbling: Instead of catching a pass, Chigiri bounces the ball forward without stopping his run. He then runs at breakneck speeds with the ball on his back, and during the sprint, he accelerates even faster without losing momentum due to the adjustment, unable to be stopped by anyone who tries to stop him or defend the goal.
High-Speed ​​Pressure: Chigiri can use his speed defensively by moving quickly around the field to chase down whoever has possession of the ball. This pressure can force mistakes from opponents and easily allows Chigiri's team to set traps. However, this tactic drains Chigiri's stamina incredibly, as he cannot run for long periods of time.
Jungle Jam Run: Instead of a wide area where he excels, Chigiri runs directly through a crowded area while making quick turns. He does this to draw his opponents into the middle of the field so his teammates can move freely around the sides.
Double Wing Dash: By combining his speed with Zantetsu's, he runs at full speed and exchanges short passes between himself and Zantetsu, advancing at a speed the opposing team can't keep up with. His speed is so powerful that even the sloppiest passes can be caught by his acceleration.
Parkour Shot: Chigiri jumps and swings his shooting leg back to gain momentum while placing his hand on another player's back or shoulder for leverage and balance; he then swings his leg and kicks the ball into the air, hitting it into the corner of the goal.
Cross without deceleration: Chigiri attacks down the side of the field and delivers a cross. It's too quick for the defender to detect.

Red Panther 44-degree Shot: A style Chigiri developed under the tutelage of Chris Prince, it combines the various skills and techniques he learned in Blue Lock, further enhanced by his training in the Neoegoist League, allowing him to score goals in a way unique to him. First, Chigiri locates his ideal shooting zone, which is approximately 44 degrees to the left, 19 meters from the goal. Second, he uses his cut to penetrate the opponent's formation, reaching the ideal spot. Third, he uses his centering technique to quickly fire a controlled shot toward the corner of the goal.
Mach Cut: Chigiri provokes his opponent by standing still, then, without moving, bursts into a cut, going either to the outside or inside of the opposing defender. He can perform this move multiple times to get past several defenders and eventually reach his shooting zone.
Controlled Shot: By quickly centering his body, Chigiri is able to execute a very controlled and accurate shot towards the top left corner of the goal.
