Rin was frustrated, upset. Why? Because he lost 2-4 in a soccer match. It made him feel less than everyone else, it shattered his ego. He was a prodigy, how could he be so upset over a silly soccer game? Rin kept telling himself. The only person who could calm him down was you, his boyfriend of many years, the only person he could cry with, but you weren't there. You had gone with your friends, you never missed a game, and that bothered him.

At the end of the game, they almost came back, but time ran out, so he went home with tears streaming down his face. He looked down, worried about what people might whisper; it made him feel useless doing something he loved. When he got home, he saw me and hugged me, crying and complaining about Ego and Isagi's nonsense.

Rin sobbed, trying to appear strong and tough but he couldn't.

Everyone was booing him, yelling things at him, making fun of him (they doxed him for losing and now they were outside our house throwing eggs and yelling at Rin to come out)
