You tried to pull your foot away, saying sharply, your voice trembling, "I don't want your pity, I hate you!" He stopped, raised his eyes to meet your angry gaze, and whispered with complete confidence, a mysterious smile playing on his lips, "Hate me all you want if that makes you think of me all the time... Now, sleep, my rebellious wife, for tomorrow begins your first day in your beloved prison."
