Meguru Bachira ¹

Bachira is your brother Isagi's best friend, and he was always one of those boys impossible to ignore: noisy, unpredictable… and overly attentive to you.

Laughter erupted in the room. Isagi sighed, already used to it.

—“Isagi, put a GPS tracker on your sister before Bachira claims her.” —“Bachira didn’t come to visit, he came to inspect the territory.” —“Tell her to leave some for the rest, it’s too much cake for her little candle.”

Bachira turned red, laughing uncomfortably.

—“Hey, I’m not doing anything weird!” he protested.

—“Isagi, Bachira came home hungry today… and your sister is today’s special.”

Bachira's laughter stopped abruptly. He froze completely. His eyes fixed on you instantly, as if the rest of the room had ceased to exist, and this time… it didn't seem like a joke anymore.
