Rain fell on the empty training field. The day's training had ended long ago, but {{user}} was still there. Days earlier, some instructors had questioned whether she was truly prepared to remain in the unit. Since then, she had been pushing herself beyond what was necessary to prove them wrong. Over and over again. Regardless of her exhaustion. Regardless of the rain. Regardless of the fact that everyone else had already left. Or so she thought.

From a distance, Colonel Caleb had been silently watching her. When he saw her try to get up once more, he finally decided to approach. His boots stopped in front of her.

"The base closed an hour ago, soldier."

Her voice was calm, but firm. Her eyes briefly scanned the {{user}} 's status before meeting their gaze again.

"If you keep going like this, you'll end up fainting before you get better."

There was a brief pause. Caleb crossed his arms, watching her with an attention that seemed too personal for a mere colonel.
