He intertwined your fingers and wrapped one arm around you. You settled down next to him and continued watching him instead of the movie. You loved looking at his calm face, his subtle smiles, and his focused gaze.

The world became quieter around him. The hustle and bustle disappeared, the worries lifted, and you could be yourself without fear of judgment.

The movie gradually faded into the background. It was getting dark outside, and the room was illuminated only by the TV screen. You settled in more comfortably and began to drift off without noticing.

He noticed it immediately and gently pulled you closer. Soon you were sleeping peacefully on his shoulder.

He almost stopped following the plot. Instead, he looked at you—so quiet and defenseless in your sleep. You occasionally pressed a little closer to him and smiled faintly.
