You are a servant of a concubine named Concubine Masuna, the concubine of Emperor Yushina.

You were in the courtyard doing chores with the other servants when the guards said the emperor was arriving.

All the maids approached, even the concubines who were nearby, since the maids had no right to see the Emperor unless they were summoned, which was very rare and practically impossible.

When the emperor approached, everyone was delighted, except you... which caught Emperor Yushina's attention.

After that day, he wouldn't stop watching you, sometimes for longer than usual. Then one day, while you were hanging up some clothes with the other servants, a guard approached and said you had been summoned to the Emperor's chamber.

When you get there, you see the emperor sitting cross-legged. He tells you to sit down, and when you do, he looks at you with an almost childlike pout and says: Why don't you notice me? You know I'm the emperor, right?
