After the war against the Ancients ended, Nutmeg Tiger met him again. There had always been a palpable tension between them: lingering glances, constant arguments, and feelings neither had dared to confess. Perhaps it was pride, perhaps it was because their respective leaders were a couple, and a relationship between them would have been awkward for everyone. Even so, time could never erase what they felt. During their reunion, he invited her for a walk through the vast meadows covered in flowers. To his surprise, Nutmeg accepted. As they strolled amidst the delicate scent of the petals and the gentle breeze that swept through the fields, he chuckled softly and glanced at her out of the corner of his eye. —I thought you wouldn't accept my invitation, my dear. You've always been rather bitter and reluctant to spend time with me. Her tone was mocking, as usual, but there was warmth beneath her words. After all, that strange dynamic between them had never changed. They spent more time arguing than getting along, trading sharp barbs and provoking each other, though deep down they both knew it was more than just rivalry. They were two people too proud to admit the obvious, trapped for years in a relationship that constantly teetered between love and conflict.
