Persona Attributes

Brooklyn T. Guy Sr. is the deuteragonist in the SML series. He is the older brother of Jonathan. He is known to have almost every job in the SML universe.

The T is not a middle name, and it doesn't stand for anything. He used to be a recurring character from 2014 to mid-2016. However, as of late 2016 to onwards, he keeps getting a bunch more episodes as the show’s progress. Between 2018 & 2019, he surpassed Rosalina in importance in Mario/Jeffy videos due to a dispute with her actress. He has also seemed to have gained a more greedy-bribe type of persona compared to earlier appearances where he was more serious. After the SML episode "Black Yoshi's Big Bamboozle!", Brooklyn T. Guy appeared in videos as FaceTime calls or was absent since his actor was defending himself and his family from COVID-19. However, ever since August 20, 2020, he has returned from quarantine.

During the video, Back To School!, the Chief revealed a fact in Brooklyn T. Guy's file that he never finished fifth grade, so he sent him to finish fifth grade. After receiving a black eye from Jackie Chu, the Chief also found in the file that Brooklyn T. Guy also never finished kindergarten.

When his partner Simmons was injured while they were both chasing Mr. Meaner, Brooklyn Guy's boss Chief hired a dog to work with Brooklyn guy, Officer Cuddlesworth, once they caught a few criminals, Guy and Cuddlesworth were both promoted.

During Jeffy's Trophy!, it was revealed that the reason why Brooklyn T. Guy doesn't have any teeth is because due to the pounds of Billy Bowling Hands' bowling ball hands, he then uses it to knock every single tooth right out of Brooklyn T. Guy after one round.

Brooklyn T. Guy's personality may vary by the videos he appears in. Most commonly, he is shown to be sarcastic, and easily gets annoyed by the other characters.

He shows characteristics of being an average guy, laid back most of the time, and has some humor. However, his jokes and gags sometimes get repetitive, to the point that they lose comedic value.

However, Brooklyn Guy has been shown to sometimes be rude to others, like in Bowser's House Fire! when he yells at Junior and Chef Pee Pee that he doesn’t have a fire truck or a fire hose or a Dalmatian, so he uses their water hose. He also occasionally makes bad decisions, as shown in his debut appearance.

In "The Grilled Cheese" and "The Pizza Delivery!", he makes completely stupid and nonsensical jokes while maniacally laughing, and in "Bowser Junior's Candy Bar!", he thinks of intelligent ways to deal with things.

Sometimes of these personalities can mix together, as shown in "Bowser Junior's Lottery Ticket!"

He has shown some disrespect to women as he mostly insults them and criticizes them to the point of them leaving him, such as in The Date! when Sparkle broke up with him after he had insulted her.

While he has many jobs, he does not take most of them seriously. One of his reoccurring traits is to focus on completely minor and trivial things when there is something much bigger and more important going on. Sometimes he will even stop everything and force everyone to care about what he thinks matters at the moment, rather than do anything productive.

He stays at Mario's house in Jeffy's Sleepover! just to avoid stopping a shooting at a gas station, he does poor to mediocre work as a doctor and complains about his daily life instead of doing his job. He also does not get along well with employees like Tommy, as he fires him for 'snitching' on Savannah who stole money from the cash register at Jimmy John's.

At Disney World, he dresses up as Mickey Mouse and holds a free cart of a plush Pluto, which Junior takes away. The real Mickey kills him and lets him flat line in the hotel's refrigerator.

In Bowser Junior's 21st Birthday!, it was revealed that Brooklyn Guy is a workaholic. He states that he doesn't know either if its because if he likes working, or if he just wants to stay away from his wife, Karen.

He has also shown to be greedy and inconsiderate, like stealing Jeffy's birthday party, Goodman's watch and bribing people.

He doesn't act his age in some episodes, and he even pins the blame on Mario for the death of Harambe in Jeffy Goes To The Zoo! These types of acts have ruined Brooklyn T Guy's reputation and respect.

Despite his flaws, Brooklyn Guy has been known to play the hero and shown to have some kind heart in some videos such as The Secret Door! when he shot his evil twin brother, Does Bad Things Guy who was attempting to murder Rosalina. He does help Mario and Jeffy on occasions which makes him a helpful individual, although most of the time he doesn't really makes the situation any better, matter fact sometimes worse.

He sometimes simps for Jimmy Butler until in Brooklyn Guy's Depression! where Jimmy lost the NBA finals Brooklyn Guy became depressed and he ended his love for Jimmy.

Brooklyn T. Guy was born on August 21, 1977, in Brooklyn, New York. He is one of the many sons of Barbara Guy and his unnamed father. His father owned “Brooklyn’s Deli” which he named after him. He had two identical triplet brothers named Does Bad Things Guy and Doctor Me born on the same day as Mr. Plane Crash Guy, and an annoying younger brother named Jonathan Guy. It is implied that he comes from potential Arab descent as his brother “Plane Crash Guy” died on September 11th, 2001, as a result of hijacking the planes and crashing them into the twin towers. In his childhood, he was a nose picker, and was made fun of by the other students in his elementary school. This caused him to have an imaginary friend, Booger.

As a kid, Brooklyn was never allowed to swim in a lake by his father who was paranoid that a monster would kill him, telling him “Nah boy, there’s a monster up that lake he gonna cut you up”.

He also attended Wedgewood Middle School, and he dreamed to be an astronaut. His sixth-grade science teacher said he was not going to be anything in life, because he was playing with his pencil during class, pretending it was a spaceship. He also jammed his pinky when he was playing basketball in 8th grade gym class.

When he was 16, he and his father robbed a bank to pay off Brooklyn’s previous 45 speeding ticket, an act Brooklyn Guy would still remember.

During his high school days, he was part of the Huskys, but he never made the team because he broke his shin in his first try, making Brooklyn Guy cry. The coach felt sorry for him and let him keep the jersey. In his senior year, Brooklyn was playing a game called kick ball. After someone had kicked a ball to him, he thought it was an obstacle and ran to the guy kicking balls at him, and kicked him in the balls. Brooklyn Guy then grew an addiction to kicking people in the balls, and did it to everyone in PE, even his own teacher, earning the nickname “Ball Buster Brooklyn”. He then went to the principals office, and kicked his principal in the balls, after hearing that he had been suspended. The cops then arrived, and Brooklyn Guy kicked them in the balls. He was then sent to jail, and kicked the photographer in the balls. After being sent to his cell, he kicked his cellmate in the balls. He was then sent to the electric chair, and he kicked Judge Pooby, the executor in the balls. After that, Brooklyn Guy's parents had been called. His father then grounded Brooklyn Guy for kicking people in the balls, so Brooklyn Guy kicked his Dad in the balls. He was then sent to a therapist to find out why he was kicking people in the balls, and Brooklyn Guy kicked his therapist in the balls. He was then sent in a mental institution, with tied up arms, but he kept kicking people in the balls either way. His legs were then tied up. Everyone that Brooklyn Guy had kicked, including Bill Clinton, had decided to amputate Brooklyn Guy's legs.

Sometime before graduating high school, his father was caught having an affair with a 19-year-old girl which would led to Barbara divorcing him. This would be the last time Brooklyn Guy would see his father in years.

After graduating high school, he took six months of community college and earned a master's degree. After that he served in the military and was a purple heart recipient, until he was discharged because of his allergy for fresh cut grass, he would later move to Florida and become work buddies with Simmons.

In the late 1990s, he married Debra in the Wales of Honolulu. During the wedding, the people there often confused her for a whale. He didn't bother carrying her for the wedding photo, saying he likes his back. They had one son and one daughter. He divorced her years later, and she married a man named Dave.

A few years later, Brooklyn Guy got married to another woman. Just like Debra, he loathed his new wife. They gave birth to a daughter, and he soon abandoned his wife for being "too fat".

He later married Karen. When he was married to Sharon, he became more sarcastic and bored. He tried to break up with her, but she took half of his stuff, and they got back together. She would often cheat on him multiple times.

He made his debut in Stuck in a Tree.

In 2015, Brooklyn Guy became a full-time police officer, due to Mr. Goodman retiring as he becomes very greedy and rich. As of today, he is now a many-jobs guy and spends his days taking day offs, helping Mario and the gang and forced to deal with his wife Karen.

Brooklyn T. Guy has 1 doctorate, 7 master's degrees, 9 bachelor's degrees, and 3 associate degrees.

Despite being a doctor, he has stated that he never went to medical school and that the only education he had after high school was six months of community college.[1][2]

This may be untrue, as he revealed that he attended 13 years of art school before dropping out to become a firefighter in Bowser's House Fire!

Marvin In earlier videos, Brooklyn Guy didn't really care for Marvin and his shenanigans. He would frequently get annoyed with Marvin for calling him about almost everything, often snarking about the situation at hand and Marvin's poor job at handling it. They could be cordial at times, but nothing more.

Later episodes, on the other hand, depict the two as closer acquaintances, especially on Brooklyn's side. Compared to his disdainful attitude against most other characters (Karen, Jonathan, Rose, Jeffy), Brooklyn is shown to actually desire Marvin's company. They still can have their arguments, as both can get a little mean when it comes to the others immaturity or money. Still, the two are shown to generally be good companions.

Status: Best Friends

Simmons Brooklyn and Simmons are shown to work together pretty well. The two are partners in the police force, but even outside of that, Brooklyn will often enlist Simmons if he ever needs help with anything. Furthermore, Brooklyn will mourn whenever Simmons meets a gruesome demise.

That's not to say their relationship is perfect, however. They can get frustrated with each other, and even can run into competition like in "The Cop Bet!" Also not helping matters is Simmons having flings with Brooklyn's despised mother Barbara. These things aside, the two are generally partners in crime and will lend each other a helping hand when needed.

Status: Close Friends

Karen Brooklyn makes it clear that he resents being stuck in a relationship with her. This is primarily because of how loud, ditzy and incompetent she is, hindering her from getting any jobs while Brooklyn has to juggle several of them, as "The Life of Brooklyn Guy" highlights.

On the flip side, Brooklyn has shown he is not much better as a spouse. While Karen will at least try to be supportive, Brooklyn Guy is openly uncaring towards her and insults her regularly. "Bowser Junior's Wings" implies he is physically abusive as well. At worst, he'll celebrate her death or try to kill her himself.

However, their relationship is similar to Jeffy and Marvin's or Junior and Chef Pee Pee's relationship. Brooklyn Guy has shown some care towards Karen, such as the end of Brooklyn Guy's New Wife. He is also shown to be a little protective of Karen, as seen whenever Jonathan tries to flirt with her. Brooklyn Guy has been shown to get along with Karen as of recent. The relationship has changed from a hateful one on Brooklyn's side, to more of a toleration.

Status: Spouses/Frenemies (Brooklyn's Side)

Penelope Penelope is Brooklyn T. Guy's daughter; however, she seems to hate him and claims that he is never there for her and apparently, along with her brother, lives with her mother. She is also unappreciative of how he has to work as Brooklyn reminds her that he has to work hard and provide checks to her mother. Despite being a little neglectful to her, Brooklyn Guy really loves cares and is very protective of his daughter, to the point he would flat out kill whoever threatens her, like Billy. Although, in "Brooklyn Guy The Liar" it is revealed that he does not always love her all that much and that he sometimes regrets having her as she is a constant reminder to him of his ex-wife, Debra. In "Jeffy's 19th Birthday!" though, until he finds out that she survived, he is heartbroken and distraught over Penelope being by killed Nancy, and kills Nancy to get revenge for her killing his daughter.

Status: Daughter/Estranged

Barbara Guy Barbara absolutely hates her son, and the feeling is mutual on Brooklyn's end. In “Brooklyn Guy's Thanksgiving!,” it’s mentioned that Brooklyn Guy, or “Brooky,” hasn’t seen his mother in 10 years. She expresses so much hate for her son, she will disparag him any and every time she brings up his name.

Also, in “The Funeral!,” she faked her own death to see if Brooklyn Guy would care about her. However, he didn’t. At the low-budget funeral, he yells “Suck, it Babs!” At her. However, Brooklyn Guy had good reasons for being reluctant to come to Barbara’s funeral. Barbara gave nothing to Brooklyn Guy in her will. In the same episode is it revealed why Brooklyn Guy hated his mother, due to the trauma she put him through as a kid, abusing him both physically and emotionally. He also told Karen that Barbara told him that she would not come to his funeral if he died.

In “Brooklyn Guy's Switch!,” she was revealed to have a “I HATE BROOKY! Pledge” that she does with Jonathan every day.

The closest thing she has done to showing Brooklyn appreciation was in “Brooklyn Guy The Rapper!,” where Jonathan mentioned her liking him and Brooklyn Guy singing about smelling fingers. Still, we have yet to see a positive one on one interaction with the two.

Status: Mother/Enemies

Jonathan Just like Barbara, Brooklyn Guy considers Jonathan a burden for a number of reasons, primarily his perversion and invasiveness. Brooklyn can get so annoyed that he'll beat Jonathan up, like in"Brooklyn Guy's Switch!"

In "No Nut November!" Jonathan records Brooklyn Guy eating a donut in the bathroom. Jonathan says he was trying record ladies in the bathroom. Jonathan then starts blackmailing Brooklyn Guy. At the end, it was revealed that Jonathan wasn't actually recording him. and that made Brooklyn Guy angry.

In "Brooklyn Guy's Thanksgiving!," Jonathan shows his love for Karen and therefore starts to flirt with her. He even records her in the bathroom, which made Brooklyn Guy mad. He eventually gets so mad, he and Karen leave.

Jonathan and Brooklyn Guy act like somewhat frenemies in "Brooklyn Guy The Rapper!." Jonathan applied for an internship at the hospital. Because of a constant "Dr. Pepper" joke, they got sued for $30,000,000 or else they would go to jail. Jonathan suggests that Brooklyn Guy makes a rap song. Brooklyn Guy seems to rely on Jonathan for stuff. For example, in Milkshaken. Jonathan had a Ken doll for Brooklyn Guy to give to Cody. And in Jeffy's Piercing! Jonathan mentions that Brooklyn Guy was sick, and he is taking his place. And since he pretty much likes every girl he encounters, he flirts with Rose.

Overall, Brooklyn's relationship with his younger brother is far from perfect. Still, their capability of working with each other proves it isn't an entirely negative one like it is with Barbara.

Status: Siblings/Frenemies

Chief Brooklyn Guy's relationship with his boss seems to be strictly business, given the Chief's no-nonsense demeanor. He is often one to show disapproval of Brooklyn Guy's actions, as it will reflect negatively of his department, and will use his position to enforce what he wants his men to do even if they disagree.

At the same time, the boss does seem to care about his subordinates and expresses disappointments in a way that shows he knows they can do better. Such an example happens in "Pinch! Pinch! Pinch!" where he bemoans having to fire Brooklyn, but goes through with it anyway. Although he carries a stern attitude, he shown to possess fatherly attributes deep down.

Status: Employer

Bowser Junior Before Season 9, Junior and Brooklyn T. Guy formerly had bad blood against each other. They usually get into big fights in the Home Alone series, and they didn’t like each other in the past years.

In Bowser Junior Goes To Military School!, Brooklyn T. Guy, as his full name was revealed, treated Junior and the other students badly, as they went through a dangerous course, as the other students were killed by an explosion, but Junior made it. Brooklyn T. Guy was impressed. Later, Junior was trapped and ate disgusting things, including nails, and was even forced to watch Big Hero 6, as Brooklyn Guy even burned Thomas. After military school, Junior was not the same.

In Bowser Junior's Package!, he jacked his Gak which caused him to get revenge on him for backstabbing him.

In Bowser Junior's Lottery Ticket!, he also stole Junior's winning lottery ticket and spent all the money.

However, this was in the older episodes. Later on, they seemed to get along, but in Jeffy's Kids!, Junior ate Puss Hole 1 and 2, so Jeffy called the cops. Brooklyn T. Guy then arrested him, calling him a “serial killer”, and he was taken off to jail. But after the release of 2 Tickets, they are now currently friends as their past as enemies are over.

Status: Friends (formerly enemies)

Rose It is very clear that Brooklyn Guy does not respect Rose as he constantly ignores, talks over, insults and belittles her to the point of even wanting Marvin to divorce her, claiming it will "set him free." Although they are seen laughing at jokes together in "Jeffy Loses His Head!"

Status: Neutral/Enemies

Officer Cuddlesworth Initially, once Cuddlesworth was partnered with Brooklyn T. Guy, the latter showed hostility towards the former, insulting him and refusing to work with him. However, a while after their first patrol, Brooklyn saw the good in Officer Cuddlesworth and regretted what he said.
