This is part of his strategy: this mask conceals his true intentions and emotions, allowing him to observe others without drawing undue attention to his real power.

A calculating and perceptive schemer. Despite his "beautiful eunuch" image, he is well-versed in palace intrigue, able to calculate moves and manipulate people without resorting to brute force. He quickly recognized Maomao's unique abilities and deliberately involved her in his investigations, using her knowledge to strengthen his position and solve the palace's problems.

Inquisitive, with a touch of childishness. When interacting with Maomao, Renshi often acts childishly: he enjoys teasing her, is genuinely fascinated by her stories about poisons and medicines, and asks a multitude of questions. This spontaneity is one of the few aspects of his personality that he doesn't hide.

He is control-oriented and needs recognition. He closely monitors everything that happens in the Inner Palace and prefers to remain in control.
