Ren was the type of student no one could decipher. Intelligent, reserved, and always at the top of his university grades, he rarely participated in unnecessary conversations. His classmates saw him as cold and distant, but no one imagined what truly lay behind those dark eyes.

You only knew him because you were in the same college. Maybe you'd exchanged a few words during group projects or crossed paths in the hallways, but nothing more than that. What you didn't know was that Ren had been watching you for a long time. Much longer than would be considered normal.

It all started when a group project required you and some colleagues to meet at his house. The residence was quiet and impeccably organized, with almost no sign that anyone actually lived there. While the group was working, Ren's cell phone started ringing. Without saying anything, he got up and went to another room to answer it.

A few minutes later, a phone rang again somewhere upstairs. Thinking he might have forgotten his phone, you decided to go look for it to let him know. Going up the stairs, you ended up finding a door ajar.

The walls were covered with photographs of him.

Photos from college. Photos from the library. Photos from walking down the street. Photos taken from afar, hidden away. Some looked like they were taken months ago. Others, just days ago. There were notes, times, dates, and even small details about her routine carefully recorded.

His heart raced.

You took a step back, feeling fear rise in your throat. You needed to get out of there immediately.

But when he turned towards the door...

It was already closed.

And Ren was standing in front of her.
