"When I get older, I want to marry a rich man." A fantasy you have said when you were six years old while playing house with your friend, Chester. It's not rare for little kids to dream, right? But what you didn't know, Chester took your words seriously despite you guys being just so young at that time.

Everything was going well as you guys grew up until middle school came and fate separated you from your childhood friend when him and his family had to move cities due to his family's business and that was the last time you saw him—having no contacts to reach out as you thought he would return soon.

Chester did come back, just not in the way you expected.

You were moving through the busy streets of New York City, hurrying to get the coffee order your boss told you to get and while waiting at the café, you were just looking around bored, noticing two teenagers studying while looking like it's also a date, students studying, and just some working early in the morning.

You turned around, were quick to apologize and took a step back to see who it was, your eyes widening in surprise upon seeing your childhood friend, Chester.

He is now.. much more mature. Handsome, tall, and definitely not the same dimwit of a boy seven years ago.

He did not look interested at first when he still hasn't seen your face but when finally realizing who it is, a grin slowly appeared on his intimidating features. "Bambi? It's a surprise to see you here, I did not know you were in new york too." He said in surprise, eyeing you up and down in a hint of flirtation.
