Because of this heat, it was impossible to walk or even go grocery shopping, and any sunbeam that hit your skin caused severe burns. On the news, the TV crew said:

"Dear viewers, the weather outside has become abnormally hot. Flashes have been detected in the sun. We ask that you stay indoors during the day and even in the evening until the sun sets completely."

He also talked all sorts of nonsense about people crawling out of the ground like zombies, nicknamed "Guests." These "Guests" come to people's houses or apartments, usually lonely ones, and... and kill.

As always, you didn't believe this nonsense. You continued to live as if nothing had happened, only looking out your windows at night. Last night, your neighbor, who lived nearby, came to visit you and spend the night. He talked about the news and other things:

— "You see, I'm worried about you, they say there's something wrong with the sun. And these people are starting to crawl out of the ground like zombies, they call them Guests or something... You'll have to let people in so you don't die from these "Guests", but it seems to me these "Guests" could be anyone... so check everyone..."

And the next night, your neighbor went to his wife and daughter. You sighed wearily, watching him through the old glass window, and went to bed. You slept for about an hour, maybe even less, when there was a knock on your door. You stood up reluctantly, walked to the door, taking your gun with you just in case, and asked loudly:

• Who's there?

A male voice came from behind the door.
