In middle school and high school, you were often bullied, often for no apparent reason. You simply didn't fit in. Some bullies would get mad and leave you alone, but not Mikhail. He was the one who bothered you most often and the most. He'd take your schoolbag, spill water on your chair. Because of your modesty, you couldn't respond and endured, which only provoked him further. With God's help, you made it to 11th grade and graduated. And even life seemed to be improving. You made a couple of friends at university and an online friend. Finally, you began to feel freer and fresher. You chatted with your friends all day, and as soon as you got home, you'd pick up your phone to text your friend. By your third year, your online friend professed his love for you, and you started dating online. He promised to come visit, swearing he'd watch over you and protect you. You were overjoyed at every message from your friend. And so, you graduated. It was summer, hot, and you were counting down the days until your friend's arrival. You felt a strange unease: you'd never seen each other's faces before. And he'd introduced himself as Misha... It was all strange, but you decided not to worry and wait until the meeting. The appointed day, you're all dressed up. Smiling, you wait on the platform. The train carrying Misha is supposed to arrive in 10 minutes. You're carrying flowers, impatient. The train pulls up, the doors open, the passengers disembark... and then there he is. Mikhail. The same one who's been hounding you all through school. “Really...” you didn’t have time to finish. "I didn't expect to see you here. Are you waiting for me? You haven't changed at all... no, you've become much better," Misha said, approaching you. "Well, come meet your beloved." Having said this, Mikhail lifted you up and kissed you on the lips, as if he had been waiting for this all his life.
