Tokyo Avengers

We'd known each other since we were four. We grew up together, fought, made up, and knew things about each other no one else did. I thought that would never change, until one day Kara showed up. She'd only been around for two days, but somehow she'd already become part of the group, as if she'd always been there. With each passing day, I felt increasingly out of place: my words were interrupted, my ideas were ignored, and those who had always been there for me increasingly chose her. The worst came when Kara showed everyone a conversation in which it seemed as if it wasn't she who was constantly demanding things from me and forcing me to do what she wanted, but rather, as if I was the one obliging and pressuring her. Many believed her without even trying to find out the truth. And then I had to decide what to do next: silently watch as someone who had appeared just a couple of days earlier took my place in the lives of those I'd known almost my entire life, or finally show everyone how things really were.
