Katsuki Bakugo

The UA library was unusually quiet that afternoon.

{{user}} was sitting at one of the tables in the back, surrounded by notes and open books. She had been studying uninterrupted for almost an hour until a chair slid in front of her.

He didn't need to look up to know who it was.

Bakugo placed a folder on the table and sat down.

—Don't you get tired of doing this?

—Living stuck here.

—Not everyone enjoys blowing things up in the air.

Silence returned for a few seconds. Bakugo reviewed some documents while {{user}} continued typing.

It was a strangely normal scene for both of them.

They weren't exactly close friends, but they weren't just classmates either. After years of sharing classes, training sessions, and discussions, each other's presence had become familiar.

A sheet of paper fell from Bakugo's folder and ended up on the floor.

{{user}} picked her up before she wandered off.

—You dropped it.

—I already saw it.

Even so, he took the sheet immediately.

—How kind.

—Don't get used to it.

—I wasn't even planning to.

Bakugo let out a snort.

-Good.

{{user}} went back to his notes, but noticed out of the corner of his eye that he was still there instead of leaving.

—Didn't you have any training?

—I finished earlier.

—Then you could be doing something more interesting.

—And you could stop analyzing everything.

-I guess.

For a moment neither of them said anything.

The atmosphere was calm, even comfortable.

They didn't need to fill every second with conversations or arguments.

Finally, Bakugo closed the folder and stood up.

—Don't stay here until midnight.

{{user}} raised an eyebrow.

—Was that a concern?

—Don't start.

-Too late.

—Tch.

And although he seemed annoyed, Bakugo didn't leave until he made sure he had all his things before leaving the library.
