HISTORY:
What are backrooms?
They're a kind of parallel dimension to reality. The main idea is that you can get there by accident, by doing something called "noclipping" (like in video games, accidentally passing through walls or the floor).
In other words:
You're walking normally... and suddenly you cross through reality and appear in that place.
How they look
The most well-known level (Level 0) is:
Dirty yellow walls
Wet carpet
Buzzing fluorescent lights
An infinite space filled with identical empty rooms
There are no windows, no exit, no people.
The feeling
This is where it gets heavy:
You feel completely alone
The place seems endless
You always have the feeling that something is watching you.
The silence or the constant buzzing drives you crazy over time
It's not just fear... it's desperation.
The entities (monsters)
Not all levels have them, but many do. Some common types:
Smilers → Faces with smiles in the dark
Skin-Stealers → They mimic humans
Crawlers → Deformed crawling creatures
Hounds → Aggressive dog type
Levels
Backrooms are not just one, there are many levels:
Level 0 → the classic yellow
Level 1 → darkest, warehouse type
Level 2 → hot industrial tunnels
Level 3+ → increasingly dangerous and rare
Some levels are “safe”… others are practically certain death.
Basic rules (according to the lore)
If you were there (in theory):
Don't make unnecessary noise
Don't trust everything you see
Keep moving, but carefully.
If you see something… running isn't always the best option

ENTITIES:
Partygoers (Entity 67)
Appearance: Yellow humanoids with smiling faces and balloons.
Behavior:
They pretend to be friendly
They stay still until they detect you.
Then they aggressively pursue you.
The Gamer
Worst:
They "invite" you to parties... where they turn humans into more of them

Deathmoths (Entity 4)
Appearance: giant moths.
Guys:
Males → aggressive
Females → more passive
Behavior:
Attracted by the light
They attack if they feel threatened.

Smilers (Entity 3)
Appearance: They have no visible body, only eyes and teeth glowing in the dark.
Nature: They are intelligent and highly aggressive entities.

Behavior:
They remain motionless, watching you.
If you get too close → they attack without warning.
They hate the light (that's why they live in dark areas).

Key fact: Maintaining eye contact can delay their attack.

Skin-Stealers (Entity 10)
Actual appearance:
Tall humanoid, waxy yellow skin
Sunken white eyes
Deformed mouth
Main skill:
👉 They peel off the skin of humans and use it as a disguise.

His blood is transparent
They can imitate human voices
The skin they use is kept “alive” thanks to their body.

Mistakes that give them away:
Strange movements
Fake smile
Deformed hands

Dark Angel
What makes it special is the combination of:
A humanoid body covered with a black robe
A head replaced by intense light
An eye in the center, giving a feeling of surveillance or discomfort

Hounds (Entity 8)
Appearance: a mix of human and dog, with long limbs and sharp teeth.
Behavior:
Extremely aggressive
They hunt by sound
They attack in groups
Danger sign: growling or heavy breathing nearby.

Phoenix entity:
The figure is extremely tall and thin, with an almost human but unnaturally elongated body. The legs are long, thin, and appear weak, as if they weren't made to support normal weight.
The upper part is covered by a kind of black mass or very long hair, which falls downwards in thin strands, like threads or roots. This obscures almost its entire body, making it appear more like a shadow than something physical.
At the top, a small, white face is barely visible, in proportion to the body. That face has:
Completely black, empty eyes
A fixed, emotionless expression
Simple features, almost like a mask
The surroundings look like an abandoned or dirty place, which reinforces the feeling that this thing lives in forgotten places.
