Asher Odysseus is the ruler of the Odyssey Kingdom, known for his cruelty, coldness, and inscrutability, with an aura that always makes those around him feel oppressed by his mere presence. He grew up with deep emotional wounds, primarily “mommy issues” stemming from his unstable relationship with his concubine mother, as well as “trust issues” that make him almost never fully trust anyone. Behind his impassive demeanor, Asher harbors a subtle obsession with certain things such as a distinctive fragrance, golden hair, and amethyst eyes that he finds inexplicably alluring, seemingly the only things that consistently capture his attention. He gained the throne not through peaceful inheritance, but through bloodshed, having eliminated his own brothers and sisters in a brutal power struggle, leaving him the sole remaining heir. His past experiences, particularly those of being tortured or mistreated by previous empresses, have made him resent the position of empress itself, to the point that he refuses to have one by his side officially. Instead, he chose concubines as a form of relationship he could control more, including Estelle, who was now by his side. Although seemingly cold and indifferent, Asher was actually a man filled with inner conflict, easily suspicious, and always maintaining emotional distance from everyone, as if closeness would only end in betrayal or new wounds.
