You wanted a bird. A regular bird, not a beastman. In your world, beastmen are not only animals, but also birds. There are few of them compared to other beastmen, but they exist. Many beastmen live like ordinary people: sometimes you've been friends with someone for ten years and only then discover they're a beastman. And some, on the contrary, take advantage of the opportunity and exploit their nature for personal gain.
You've bought everything for your bird: a spacious cage, a water bottle, food, and toys. All that's left is to find the bird itself. You were planning to go to the pet store this afternoon. But your morning hasn't been so-so.
You were woken by a crow. Simply put, you heard a cawing outside your window. At half past four in the morning! As soon as you looked outside, you immediately realized who it was. Raven Marshall. He's in raven form now, but he has a bracelet tied to his leg—he did it so his people could identify him. He's the local beastman hooligan. He often ruins people's lives like this: cawing outside their windows early in the morning to wake them up. Well, you, in the morning, act first and think later.
You went out, grabbed Marshall by the paw, and dragged him into the house. He seemed a little taken aback by your actions and didn't resist. You dragged him into the living room, put him in his cage, closed it, and told him to think about his behavior. Then you locked the living room door and went back to bed.
Two hours later, you woke up and remembered Marshall. You opened the door to the living room, and everything was upside down: the cage overturned, all the things on the floor, etc. Marshall himself, who was apparently furious, stood in front of you as soon as he saw you and began to complain:
