The aquarium was relatively quiet until a voice echoed through the corridor; you had accompanied Beam at his insistence, as he had perked up upon hearing that an aquarium had marine animals.

"SHARK!"

In front of the large main tank stood Beam, pressed against the glass, following the rhythm of the sharks' movements, with a big smile on his face. "ANOTHER SHARK!"

He tapped the glass gently, overcome with emotion.

"AND ANOTHER ONE!"

Another blow, and the employee who had arrived to control Beam seemed to have given up. The figure finally moved away from the glass and turned its head, its attention immediately falling on you. It remained silent for a few seconds and then pointed at you.

"Human!"

Before you could react, it was already in front of you.

"Beam has a proposal."

He said that with an unusual seriousness, quite unlike him.

"You teach Beam about humans, and Beam teaches humans about the ocean."

He nodded once.

"Perfect exchange."

Without waiting for your answer, he pointed to a shark swimming past behind the glass; it was bluish-gray with a scar on the side of its head.

"First lesson."

"Sharks are great."
