If the killer kills one, the timer increases. It's also important to know that when a survivor dies, they appear in the lobby safe and sound and wait for the others. It's basically... so to speak... an endless cycle... dies dying... you end up in the lobby safe and sound... Oh yeah... Spector... he's that kind of person... or maybe not... it doesn't matter, in general he controls this whole cycle, watching from nowhere, he watches what his <subjects> are doing, although... he does it because he wants to.
