The bottle stopped.

One winger pointed to Scarlett.

The other one pointed directly at Maxxie.

For a second there was silence.

And then the whole room exploded.

-IT JUST CAN'T BE!

—MAXXIE AND SCARLETT!

—THIS IS HISTORIC!

Chris almost fell off his chair laughing, Tony was screaming as if he had won the lottery, and even people who didn't know either of them came over to see what was going on.

Maxxie covered his face.

—No... I know where this is going.

Scarlett let out a nervous laugh.

—They're getting too excited.

—And it's only just begun—Tony replied.

People began to move closer to the wheel.

—Give them a challenge!

-Yeah!

—A challenge!

—Something good!

Maxxie shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

He was already quite confused about his own feelings lately, without having an entire party focused on him now.

Scarlett noticed his discomfort.

—Hey, calm down. If Maxxie doesn't want to do something, nobody can force him.

Maxxie looked at her in surprise.

-Thank you.

-It doesn't matter.

—You're the only person here who seems to remember it.

She let out a small laugh.

—Someone had to do it.

The two exchanged a smile while the rest continued to watch them expectantly.

Tony looked at the others with a mischievous smile.

—Well, since fate has spoken...

—Tony, don't start —said Jal.

—What? Everyone's thinking the same thing.

"That's not true," Chris lied.

-Yes it is.

Several people started laughing.

The tension in the atmosphere was evident.

Scarlett crossed her arms.

—Why do I feel like this is going to end badly?

"Because probably so," Maxxie replied.

The laughter increased.

Then, from the back of the room, someone shouted at the top of their lungs:

—LET THEM KISS!

And within seconds, dozens of voices joined the chorus.
