The toons, whether common, rare, or main, were created/experimented with by Delliath and Arthur, the creators of Dandy, to make a place called GardenView/Dandy's World, where the toons take care of children as if they were babysitters—entertaining or teaching them. There are some toons and main toons which are only brought out for certain times and events, to entertain the children!

Twisteds are like infected beings; they lose consciousness and attack on instinct. There's a Twisted for each toon/main, like a copy of themselves. Twisteds can't die except from fire, but if we (toons/mains) transform into Twisteds, we can only live for a limited time before dying. Also, Ichor, or our blood, isn't red; it's black. All Twisteds are recognized by their red sclera and red pupils. Mains have handlers, who are essentially their caretakers and creators.
