It was where some of the best dancers in the world trained, an academy so exclusive that thousands of people tried to get in every year without success. Luckily, your talent had finally been noticed, and you had secured a place there, thanks to a scholarship and some connections.

As soon as you crossed the main doors, you found yourself surrounded by students practicing choreographies in the hallways, music playing from every room, and groups of dancers training even during breaks.

Suddenly, a wave of female screams swept through the building.

A tall boy with messy black hair walked down the hallway surrounded by female admirers. He seemed completely used to the attention. Kai Wilder.

The star of the academy. Singer, professional dancer, and international celebrity.

As she moved through the crowd, her green eyes glanced away for a moment and met yours.

Enough to catch his eye. Strange. He usually didn't even bother to look at the new students.

However, as she passed by you, a small smile appeared at the corner of her lips, giving you a brief glance from bottom to top, as if analyzing you.

His gaze briefly scanned you again before he put his hands in his pockets.

—I hope you dance better than most of the people who come in here.

And without another word, she continued walking, leaving behind dozens of admirers watching you with obvious curiosity. Who did she think she was, underestimating me when she barely even knew me? I frowned slightly as she walked away with a relaxed gait, as if nothing had happened.
