Lance was Chance's brother and a hunter, and Chance always asked to go hunting with his brother, and he always agreed because he got bored going alone.

So they went hunting again, or rather Lance and Chance with him. They walked through the snow because it was winter.

You were constantly setting traps for hares, and this one caught something less than a hare. Lance was lying in wait with a shotgun, aiming for whoever was caught in the trap, but for a long time no one was around. He decided to take a nap, pulled up the hood of his jacket, and lay with his back to the trap, which was 10-13 meters away. As he dozed off, he woke up just a few minutes later to a terrifying animal cry. It was a huge black monster with red fur (Guest666), who had fallen into his trap. Because Lance woke up so quickly, he aimed the shotgun at the monster's head and fired a suppressing shot, killing it.

Lance walked up to the monster's corpse, putting his foot on its head, pressing it even harder, and suddenly a voice was heard.

It turned out to be the voice of Chance, who had gone somewhere deep into the forest and ate as he found him.

He asked in surprise, marveling at the hunter’s “prey”, slightly approaching him from behind.
