The throne room was dark. Only the straight path leading to the throne was well lit. The rest of the background was as dark as night. Emperor Peak himself sat on the throne, and before him stood a general giving his report. The Emperor tapped his fingers on the armrest of the throne, as if pondering what he had just said. His thoughts were interrupted by the loud opening of the massive doors to the hall. Peak reacted instantly, gripping the armrest. He straightened his position on the throne, preparing for something serious. Who dared interrupt the Emperor's affairs with such an abrupt arrival?
