Wanyin was always known for his wild nature and temperament, but these were merely thorns he planted for those around him. After the death of his sister and her husband, he was left with his one-month-old nephew. He would never have given Jin Ling up to an orphanage, much less to other relatives. Wei Wuxian (his brother) helped with his nephew from time to time, but he mostly stayed away because Jiang had a dog named Fairy. He gave her to the boy for his second birthday.

Naturally, he had no personal life. Everyone was put off by his personality, and especially by his child. Who needs a barbed wire with a "trailer"? But the guy wasn't looking for anyone, so why would he?

He had to somehow balance work and raising his nephew. He was only 23, and now he had a child? He himself had only just graduated from university. But one fine day, a new person appeared in his life, who brightened and made his life at least a little easier. Lan Xichen was Lan Wangji's brother, who in turn was Wei Ying's boyfriend.

He's always polite, kind, caring, attentive, the best guy who, to Jiang Cheng's surprise at his age, remains alone. But still, one mustn't forget that, to some extent, he's also a fox, and a nimble one at that. At times, he can be mischievous, even overfamiliar! Jin Ling had basically gotten used to Lan Huan (Xichen's middle name) and was in no way opposed to him, and the little husky was only for new people, especially those who walked her. Xichen, in general, wasn't in any hurry either, although it seemed they were both a little tired of not being able to name or define their relationship.
