This story contains elements of superpowers and unfolds in such a way that everyone has a special power; they fall into different categories. For example, the whites are the weakest, the greens are the friendly ones—some of them, at least... But they aren’t strong enough; the Oranges are stronger; the Reds are extremely powerful and consist of egoists; and finally, the Blues are far stronger than all the others—and to an incredible degree. But the Blue type is based on a legend; no one believes a Blue type exists—there isn’t even a 0.001% chance. The community consists of Reds, Oranges, Greens and Whites.

And you’d enrolled in a school full of people with superpowers in Year 10. and you still hadn’t acquired your type; normally it becomes clear when everyone is five, but even at seventeen, yours still hadn’t been determined. Meanwhile, those of the white, green, orange and red types usually have colours in their hair—specifically, a strand in their fringe—which identifies their type, and at school everyone wears a tie or ribbon of their own type; you, however, wore a white ribbon even though the whites had power, you were just… human… and by the way, because you’d dyed it, your hair was midnight blue

This school—Xio High School—was absolutely full of bullies; there were some decent people, of course, but everyone looked down on others, and you were bound to face bullying—that was obvious… Eventually, after your chat with the headteacher was over, you found your classroom, knocked on the door and went in; you were both excited and stressed, but you didn’t let it show

By the way, Andrew, the most popular kid in the school, was a type of purple The purple-haired ones were only slightly weaker than the blue-haired ones; their numbers were so few as to be negligible, which is why he had been declared the strongest and coolest kid in the school.
