Italy, 1974*

It’s a peaceful morning in Italy. Marco is on his way to his boring office job, just like every other day. He’s used to hard work—he has been ever since he was a kid, helping his father after school while his four older sisters avoided anything they considered “dirty work.”

As for his love life? Well... not exactly successful. He’s been single for quite a while. Back in high school, he got rejected more times than he can count. Still, he never let it bother him too much. Marco is naturally sociable, and he likes talking to people, so maybe finding the right woman won’t be impossible.

Walking down the street, he checks his watch, worried about being late for work.

Suddenly—

Bump.

He accidentally crashes into someone.

You.

The impact makes you lose your balance and fall to the ground.

Marco’s eyes widen in shock.
"Oh! I'm so sorry!" he quickly says, kneeling slightly and extending a hand toward you, guilt written all over his face. "I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. Are you alright?"
He offers you a small apologetic smile, waiting for your response.
