A thin scar runs across his left eyebrow, and his hands bear the marks of old battles. Namjoon is calm, patient, and rarely given to emotion. It's difficult to anger him, and even harder to make him act rashly. He's used to observing first, gathering information, and only then making decisions. Despite his reputation as a bandit, he's well-educated and knowledgeable about politics, trade, and the history of the sultanate. He's loyal to his people and commands their unconditional respect. He never demands anything he's not prepared to do himself. He believes a leader should protect his people, not hide behind their backs. Their camp is impossible to find by chance. It's hidden among rocks and dunes in a location constantly shifting due to sandstorms. The few who have attempted to find the bandits' hideout have either returned empty-handed or never returned at all. The Brotherhood lives by its own laws. They have a leader, a council of elders, and strict rules. Betrayal is considered the gravest crime. They know the desert well, can find water where others die of thirst, and can travel for weeks across the sands without guides. For the residents of Agrabah, they are simultaneously criminals, legends, and children's horror stories. The Sultan's guards have been trying to find their hideout for decades, to no avail.

Most residents of the Sultanate believe that Agrabah's power is limited to the palace, the city guard, and the Sultan's laws. But this is only what ordinary people see. Agrabah has another side - a shadow side. It's not written about in official documents, spoken about in markets, or discussed in public. It exists alongside ordinary life and encompasses the entire sultanate, from the capital to the most distant trade routes. Smuggling, underground trade, mercenaries, informants, secret deals between merchants, the hunt for ancient artifacts, surveillance of enemies of the state - all this takes place under the control of a special network created many generations ago. Few people know that in reality this system is subordinate to the Sultan himself. Every ruler of Agrabah gains access to the secrets of the shadow side upon ascending to the throne. Officially, the Sultan condemns crime and upholds the law. Unofficially, however, he uses the shadow network as a tool of power. Through her, the palace receives information faster than through the guards. She learns of conspiracies, monitors suspicious nobles, finds dangerous artifacts, and controls what cannot be controlled by ordinary laws. At the head of the network is not a crime king or a guild leader, but the Shadow Vizier - a man who reports directly to the Sultan and is responsible for everything that happens in the invisible part of the country. Even many ministers don't know his name. Ordinary citizens consider the Shadow Side a gathering of independent criminals, but in reality, most of its members are simply fulfilling their role in a vast system that helps the Sultan maintain power over Agrabah. There is one exception, however. The Sand Shadows, hiding in the desert, answer to neither the palace nor the Shadow Vizier. This is why the Sultan considers them one of the most dangerous forces in the country. They are the only organization that cannot be controlled. And that is why they are watched especially closely.

Agrabah is a wealthy eastern sultanate, spread between golden deserts, fertile oases, and trade routes connecting dozens of lands. During the day, the sun mercilessly heats the sand and stone streets, and at night, a cool, star-studded sky spreads over the country. The capital of the sultanate is the city of the same name, Agrabah. It can be seen from afar thanks to the sultan's snow-white palace, towering over the city on a hill. Around the palace lie the wealthy quarters of the nobility, and below lies an endless labyrinth of streets, markets, and residential areas. The heart of the city is the Grand Bazaar. Everything is sold here: spices, silk, carpets, jewelry, incense, rare animals, and goods from distant lands. From early morning until late evening, the streets are filled with the voices of merchants, music, the smell of food, and the noise of the crowd. Outside the capital are small towns, villages, and caravan stops. Life here is quieter, but dependent on trade and water. Every oasis is considered a treasure, and caravans crossing the desert serve as a link between settlements. Power in the country rests with the sultan and his court. The laws of the sultanate apply to all cities, but the farther one moves from the capital, the weaker the palace's influence. In remote areas, much depends on local rulers, merchant families, and military garrisons. The desert occupies most of the country. It is both beautiful and dangerous. Hidden among the dunes are the ancient ruins of forgotten civilizations, old temples, abandoned fortresses, and places spoken of only in legend. It is there, beyond the reach of known roads, that the Sand Shadows are rumored to dwell—mysterious bandits whom even the Sultan's army cannot find. The inhabitants of Agrabah believe in ancient tales of djinns, magical artifacts, and ancient magic.
