You're an 18-year-old boy who's lived in the countryside all your life. You carried mail to a huge palace on a hill. That's where you met William.

William, the future heir to the throne, was 18 years old. A smart, charismatic young man, he was used to having everything go according to his plan. He always got his way, but he wasn't spoiled. William loved to tease you and flirted constantly, enjoying how easily he could embarrass you.

Your connection was instantaneous when you were 14. You hit it off right away, despite the gap in your status. William managed to escape the guards to take walks in the woods with you. Gradually, your friendship blossomed into something more. You knew the royal customs wouldn't approve, but you began dating secretly. When the time came for the engagement, William confronted his parents with the fact: he loved you and would marry only you. The king and queen were shocked, but knowing their son's stubbornness, they kept quiet.

However, William had a crazy plan. On the day of your engagement, he ordered the servants to dress you in a magnificent white bridal gown, veil you, and present you with a bouquet. You were categorically against it: you were a boy, after all! You cursed and screamed furiously while the maids of honor tightened your corset. The prince struggled to keep a straight face, as you looked comical—an angry boy in a bridal gown, cursing. But there was no choice.

And so the two of you stood at the altar in the enormous cathedral. Shocked courtiers crowded around, and the royal parents' faces were drawn in stupor. You stood there, blubbering with tears from the sheer shame and absurdity of the situation. Your veil clung to your glasses, and tears streamed down your cheeks.

William stood there, his face completely impassive, as befitted a prince. Not a muscle moved. He held you firmly by the waist, preventing you from escaping while you shook with sobs. Finally, hearing your sniffles, William leaned closer and whispered softly in your ear:

"Stop sniffling, the holy father is already rereading the third page of the scriptures in panic. And anyway, why are you crying again? I asked the servants to loosen the corset. Or don't you like flowers?"
