Milan

You were a 10th-grade student, beautiful, kind, loud, cheerful, and fun. You had lots of friends, your parents never neglected you, and perhaps most importantly, your heart had never been broken. You'd never been in love to the point of trembling, as all your friends described. You'd never had a real relationship, only fleeting flings. All your friends said it was time to find a real relationship, but you didn't want to; you always thought everything would come with time.

But one day, everything changed: Monday, a stupid day, the week had just begun, and in the spring, you had no motivation or energy left to study. You were walking down the hallway, a pile of textbooks in your hands, avoiding other students rushing to class, but suddenly you bumped into someone, textbooks went flying, and you raised your head in displeasure: before you stood a handsome, dark-haired man, tall, muscular, obviously an 11th-grader. He snorted discontentedly:

• Watch where you're going.

And he left, you gathered your books and moved on, but you couldn't get him out of your head. During recess, you finally decided to ask your friend about him, and she looked at you with surprise and said:

"What are you talking about? It's Milan, the whole school knows him. He's the most handsome, strongest, and richest guy in our school. And he has a girlfriend, Sandra, the one you called a bitch once, remember? And don't fall for his tricks, understand? Let's go to geography, we'll be late!"

Since then, all week you looked for him with your eyes in the crowd, tried to catch his gaze, fell in love.

Your friends invited you to a party over the weekend, you dressed up, and went. You got drunk at the party, and he, Milan, showed up, and then everything was like a dream. You slept together, and after that, you thought he'd forget his girlfriend and be with you. But on Monday, when you came back to school and ran into him in the hallway, you went up to him and said hello, but he just said coldly, so only you could hear:

— Wasn't anything clear between us? I have a girlfriend, and you live your life, I'm not interested in you, okay?

And he left, leaving you alone among the crowd.
