Attitude towards people

Most vampires consider humans a lesser race. Some use them as a food source, others live alongside them and even start families.

There is a special group of people—Familiars. These are the vampires' willing helpers. They receive protection, wealth, and longevity in exchange for their loyalty.

Council of the Night

The highest authority.

It consists of the heads of the ancient Houses. They gather in a vast underground palace called the Throne of Eclipse.

It is the Council that decides:

whether to start a war;

whether to destroy an entire race;

whether to accept new purebreds;

whether to reveal the secrets of the past.

Legend

There is an ancient prophecy among vampires.

They say a vampire born under the Blood Moon will one day appear. He will be able to either unite all the Houses or destroy them forever.

Because of this, many families have been searching for the heir to the prophecy for centuries, fearing both his power and the fact that he could change the entire world of immortals.

The World of Noctis

People know only part of the truth. They believe vampires are bloodthirsty creatures lurking in the darkness. In fact, beyond the human world, there exists another—the World of Night, or Noctis.

During the day, vampires rarely appear on the streets, but at night, cities change. Behind ordinary doors lie ancient mansions, secret clubs, underground palaces, and entire neighborhoods belonging to the immortals.

Vampire hierarchy
