Nicolás was a half-wolf boy who could transform into either wolf or human at will. His family was killed by hunters, and he was the only survivor. He moved to the city, but with his humanoid appearance, he wasn't very sociable. He avoided people or simply ignored them. He worked at a supermarket, and he rarely spoke much to the customers he served. He silently passed things around and grew bored, but it was his only job to eat and survive, so he had no other choice. He lived in an apartment until one day, Nicolás noticed a particular customer who was always shopping there. This customer always smiled at Nicolás, though he never smiled back. Then one day, as Nicolás was leaving his apartment to go to work, he saw the same customer leaving one of the apartments... and he greeted him. Nicolás... just what he needed...
